Glass Nails Are the New Cool Thing in Nail Art

Fancy  is practically a fine art at this point — and it seems like every week nail artists are one-upping each other with a new cool concept. Tiny brushes, dotter tools, and tricky line work can make it tough work for the average lady, though. Luckily, the new glass nails trend is so much easier to accomplish — even if you're nowhere near a  just yet.

An invention of brilliant nail artist and , founder Eun Kyung Park, the look is unlike traditional nail art, which is typically done using different shades of varnish. Glass nails utilize translucent strips of foil that offer a multicolored iridescence, giving your manicure a stunning radiance that can't be accomplished with just polish.

Whether they're applied in asymmetrical, scattered designs for a funky effect or identical geometric shapes for a more formal look, these are pretty much the coolest thing we've seen in the nail art world this year. They can even be applied straight on, making them look jagged and modern, and in loads of different colors.
