What's cuter than crochet baby booties? Crochet baby flip-flops!
We first spotted these adorable shoes from blogger Bethany Wright Dearden of Whistle & Ivy. Dearden a mom of two, came up with the idea while searching for a way to bring her love of crocheting into the warmer months. "Crochet in the summertime can get a bit tricky," she writes on her website. "I knew I needed to get on a new summer pattern for those little feet! These crochet baby strap flip-flops are a win!"
If you're thinking these are just the cutest thing you've ever seen (we're with ya), you can totally make them yourself. You can download Dearden's pattern on her Etsy site for $2, and the best part is you only need three things to get started: medium-weight yarn, a size F hook and a yarn needle.
Recently, the design was shared on Recipes From Heaven's Facebook page, and it seems like these flip-flops are pretty easy to make. "I made these once a few years ago — they are a quick project and come out really cute," one user commented.
Dearden also shares a step-by-step tutorial on her YouTube page, so you can follow along with her.
If you're feeling extra crafty, you can give her little bow sandals a try as well!
