If you're one of the on live cam at the Animal Adventure Park in Harpursville, New York, you're probably losing your mind right about now. It's been about was due "any moment now," and yet she still hasn't popped. The latest update says that her belly has dropped and developed even further, which gives us no clues about when we can expect to actually witness this long-awaited miracle of birth.
Some people are really starting to lose it.
Well, Erin Dietrich of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is here to provide some comic relief in these agonizing times. The mother is due to give birth to her fourth child in just over a week, so she and April have a lot in common, since April is also expecting her fourth calf.
Erin that she's become obsessed with the #GiraffeCam, watching the live feed all night long waiting for her to give birth. So she decided to do her own little Facebook live, complete with yoga pants, a sports bra, pearls, and a giraffe mask ordered from Amazon. The video shows her pacing around her bedroom, occasionally sticking her face into the camera, in an impressive imitation of April.
She posted the 7-minute video on Sunday and it immediately went wildly viral, with over 270,000 shares in under 24 hours. Anyone who's into #GiraffeWatch can surely relate!
