There are service animals, then there's Lemon, the Riesenschnauzer from Omsk Oblast in Tara, Russia. His owner, Alexander Matitsyn, 47, is a retired dog trainer in the Russian Army. Alex is naturally knowledgeable of how much dogs can actually be taught to do, so he bought Lemon to see what he could master. What started as training him to carry a bucket eventually grew into Lemon's tricks putting all other service dogs to shame.
"Before long he was carrying the bucket himself, hooking it on the pump and then standing on the lever so that the water comes out and then bringing the bucket back without spilling it," he told the.
Not amazed yet? Lemon can also plough crops in a straight line and drive Alex's snowmobile. "He loves to learn and try out new things and never forgets a trick," the owner adds.
Not surprisingly, Lemon has gained quite the fan base in Russia, with awed fans visiting the farm, eager to see the pup in action.
