Are you a Comcast customer? If so, you're probably not too happy with your Internet service.
According to information pulled from a Freedom of Information Act sent in by Ars Technica, it turns out that Comcast is the most hated Internet service provider in America. Its competitors didn't even come close when it came to the amount of complaints filed against the cable giant.
According to the report, between January 1 and November 9, Comcast received a total of 11,812 complaints, whereas AT&T received 3,896, Verizon received 1,588, and Time Warner Cable got just 1,240 complaints. If you haven't already done the math, you could combine all three competitors' complaints and they still wouldn't match those of Comcast.
Apparently Comcast customers are livid about the company's strict 300 GB per month data cap and overage charges, with some customers saying that Comcast is their only option when it comes to viable broadband in their towns.
Verizon, AT&T, and Time Warner: It may be time to expand your reach and help these Americans out ASAP.
