'Dance Moms' only showed a fraction of what Studio 19 is all about.

The Abby Lee Dance Company has had some major competition in season 8 from another Pennsylvania-based dance company, Studio 19 Dance Complex. As seen on the show, Studio 19 has trash talked the ALDC on social media, but also caused tension among the ALDC by sending gifts to former member Sarah and her mom Michelle. This made some of the moms suspicious of Michelle and question her loyalty to the ALDC. The endless shower of gifts and inner-team drama is keeping Studio 19 very much in Abby Lee Miller's life, which she seems less than thrilled about.

Studio 19 has history with Abby, because it's also where former Dance Moms star Chloe Lukasiak went after she left the ALDC in 2014. According to the International Business Times, she praised her new team and teachers excessively after the switch. "I'm so grateful for all of these wonderful people in my life. I'm beyond happy at @studio19dancecomplex," Chloe wrote on Instagram in 2015, adding, "Wouldn't be anywhere without my incredible teachers Tammy, Katie, Beth, and Robin. So happy to have such amazing friends to share this experience with. Love everyone beyond words. Thank you for taking me into your family. You have no idea how happy you guys make me."

One of the teachers who Chloe mentioned in her Instagram post is Tammy Croftcheck, who owns Studio 19, according to Northern Connection magazine. Croftcheck recently showed up on Dance Moms Season 8 and suggested that Abby needed plastic surgery. She said on the show that she and Abby go back decades, which makes sense because Northern Connection magazine reported that Tammy's owned Studio 19 for almost 30 years. She grew up dancing, acting, and modeling, before switching over to teaching full-time.

Per Northern Connection, Studio 19 offers classes in "ballet, pointe, contemporary, jazz, tap, lyrical, hip-hop, acrobatics, tumbling, [and] contortion." It was even named Pennsylvania's number one dance studio at one time, according to that 2015 Northern Connection article.

In her nearly three decades at Studio 19, Tammy has seen many of her students go on to great success. According to Patch, some Studio 19 dancers have gone on to do Broadway shows and perform alongside J. Lo and Kanye West. The dance complex was even featured on America's Got Talent. In Season 8, a group from Studio 19 appeared on the talent show and advanced to the next round after their routine. "It's athletic and it's interesting and it's original," judge Howie Mandel raved.

Tammy told Patch in 2013 that she had repeatedly turned down the Dance Moms producers when asked to come on the show. Six years later, she changed her tune, and it doesn't seem like the Studio 19 thorn in Sarah, Michelle, and Abby's side is going anywhere any time soon on Season 8.
