Today's my last day at WomansDay.com. You'll still see my byline pop up on the site from time to time, but at the end of the month, I'm taking a big leap and pursuing a long-held dream: to live in a foreign city.
As February closes, I'll be flying over the North Pole, en route to Beijing where I'll be based to write and travel. I can't tell you how lucky I feel to have worked here during this past year. In June, we re-imagined the entire website, creating something a lot more useful and pretty—remember what we looked like before? And just last month we added a crafts section that I'm super-thrilled about.
I'm lucky for all of the experiences I got to share in this column: , , , . But I'm also excited to pass on the reins: Starting next week, you'll be hearing from a lot of different editors—including our new associate editor, Heidi Cho—who will take turns sharing with you the best things we want you to know about right now.
Thanks for all your comments (even the occasional not-so-nice ones that kept me on my toes)! And look out for even better Good Things in the weeks to come.—Jennifer Conrad
