There is arguably no better feeling than curling up with a good book. Actually taking the time to do so means indulging in a little bit of that oh-so-coveted thing called self-care. That’s why book publisher is hosting a Self-Care Summit in New York on April 5, 2019, where they're delving deeply into many different wellness topics.
The summit will cover panel discussions and author talks about a range of important life skills, from financial well-being to physical wellness (and just about everything in between). Topics will span from female friendship and beating stress to nutrition — and one panel will even be hosted by our very own Landcruisers editor-in-chief, Susan Spencer.
"Our 'house' is open to curious readers looking to connect and join a thriving community based around a shared love of reading and book culture," says Theresa Zoro, executive vice president and creative director of PR and marketing at Random House. "We encourage everyone to connect, discover, and share big ideas and personal story."
Tickets to the event will include a full day of programming, a behind-the-scenes look at publishing at Random House (where all your favorite books come from), a tote full of goodies, and more. Whether you're a geek for literary fiction or super into health and wellness and narrative non-fiction, the summit has something for everyone.
