They're not called "terrible twos" for nothing—and this troublesome toddler is definitely not helping the stereotype. When Victoria Farmer, a mother from Colorado, stepped away from her daughter to nurse her baby son in their house, chaos ensued.
Victoria and her husband had been trying to sell their home and move, so they were repainting some of the rooms to give the place a touch-up. But two-year-old Anistyn had different plans for redecorating the house. Victoria returned from a short moment away from her daughter to find her coated from head to toe in white paint, along with trails of tiny handprints and footprints covering the floors and walls.
"It was horrible. She got into the bucket and submerged herself," Victoria told Daily Mail. "I said 'Anistyn,' and she just stood there frozen and didn't say anything." That must be when the sure-to-become-a-classic photo of Anistyn above was taken.
Victoria said she felt like a horrible parent for letting her daughter get covered in paint. But how was she to know that even after sealing the lid on the paint can her daughter still manage to find a way into it?
"I look like an irresponsible parent, but she's just really quick," Victoria said.
Apparently, this isn't Anistyn's first creative endeavor—she is constantly coloring herself with markers and paint.
Even though the family probably has a lot of work ahead of them undoing Anistyn's mess, it's hard to deny that her antics are pretty darn cute.
