You probably know Casper for the company's acclaimed mattresses. Now, with the launch of Casper Labs, the company has applied its sleep science expertise toward addressing a major factor that gets in the way of good night's sleep — light. According to a Casper spokesperson, the new Casper Glow is "designed to sync with your circadian rhythm and promote healthier sleep patterns, with just-right light at bedtime, wake up, and in between."
While most lights keep us up at night, Glow is made to help you "wind down naturally for a better, deeper sleep." It works by cuing your body for bed with warm light that helps you wind down, allowing you to read and relax.
Glow gradually dims, so that you can fall asleep without interruption. In the morning, the light will gently wake you up, by filling the room with soft light for a rela morning.
In order to adjust the brightness on the light, you simply twist it. For a low, gentle light (to tip-toe to the kitchen for a midnight snack, for example), you just wiggle Casper Glow. If you happen to drop the light on the way to the fridge, no worries. It's made with a polycarbonate outer shell that's tough enough to handle those kinds of tumbles.
A huge appeal of Glow is its convenience factor. The light charges wirelessly, so you can just dock it next to your bed. Also, there's an app that accompanies Glow, allowing you to easily customize your bedtime and morning routines.
The Glow Light will run you $89, which actually seems like a small price to pay for a good night's sleep, am I right?!
