Every year, when October rolls around, we're inundated with pink products and breast cancer awareness messages. This is not a bad thing, but it often leaves me wondering: what can I really do to help find a cure? Now there's a super simple way that anyone—men, women, breast cancer survivors and people who've never dealt with cancer—can make a difference. Join the . This newly launched project from the will help experts get a better understanding of breast cancer and its potential causes.
"The majority of women who get breast cancer have none of the known clinical risk factors," says Dr. Susan Love (one of the most renowned breast cancer researchers). "This means we don't know what causes breast cancer or how to prevent it."
So, the online study will collect information about your health, your job, your diet and your family history, etc. The info will help researchers get a deeper understanding of breast cancer and why it happens. Once you sign-up, you'll receive periodic questionnaires. All you have to do is fill them out online, from the comfort of your own home, and you're done. That's it. So simple!
Join me—and tons of other women across the world—and sign up for the HOW study today in honor of breast cancer awareness month.
