"When it comes to food borne illness from Listeria monocytogenes, taking extra precaution to limit any exposure is key to staying in good health. Under the worst of circumstances, this type of contamination can lead to spontaneous miscarriage in pregnant women, so we applaud Mann's for their proactive recall. This serves as a good reminder to wash veggies and fruit thoroughly before any kind of prep or cook — safety first!"
