Anyone who loves pineapple knows that through the rough outside to get to the delicious inside is such a frustrating task. It's much easier to opt to buy it already chopped, but the canned stuff is often too sweet and the pre-cut ones that come in plastic containers are never as juicy (not to mention they're pretty expensive).
But now a video has surfaced showing us that there's a brilliant, fast way to peel a pineapple, courtesy of the wisdom of an anonymous fruit vendor. As you can see, using what must be a pretty sharp knife, he simply chops off one end, slices around the rim (although this part could be a bit dangerous for those of us who aren't used to handling pineapples all day), and then cuts lines inside the pineapple. He does the same to the other side, chucks out the middle, and perfect fall out. The skin is completely carved out and yet remains perfectly intact. As a bonus, you could even dry it out and repurpose it as some sort of decoration!
