If you use Glad containers on the regular to pack your lunch, snacks, or store your leftovers, you may think you know the ins and outs of exactly how they work — but your plastic food storage world is about to be turned upside down, because a woman just figured out that Glad container lids actually contain two lids, and the use for the second one is going to change your life.
User was posting photos of her meal prep on Twitter this week when people noticed something strange about her Glad containers — specifically, the lids.
She had little plastic containers attached to the larger lid, and people started to freak out.
Apparently, those circles in the lids aren't just a cool groove in the design — they're made to hold the little plastic containers to store your spreads, salad dressings, or extra toppings. Right right, that makes more sense, anyway.
But if you're thinking — how could Glad keep this from us!? We could have spared so many soggy lunch salads — um, sad facts: They actually marketed the product this way, but the majority of us completely missed the point.
Better late than never?
