The cauliflower-comfort food trend is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down. There's ! And ! And cauli ! And now, courtesy of Birds Eye, Cauliflower and Ranch Fries. Just two of your favorite foods, mashed into one healthyish snack.
spotted the new product, also listed on , at Walmart earlier this week. Walmart confirmed that the healthy fries are available in 2,700 Walmart stores for $2.97 per bag. (That's about a third of Walmart's total U.S. stores; Birds Eye says this product has a more regional distribution than some of its other products.)
The cauliflower and potato fries are coated with ranch seasoning, so you can get the fries-in-ranch taste without actually dipping them in sauce. Each serving contains one serving of vegetables, plus 150 calories, six grams of fat, and 20 grams of carbs.
The carb content means they're not quite keto-friendly, but they do have fewer carbs, calories, and fat than standard all-potato fries. By comparison, a small order of McDonald's fries has 230 calories, 11 grams of fat, and 29 grams of carbs.
Birds Eye also has a Broccoli and Cheese Fry, which sounds just as delicious, especially if you're a fan of the wonderfully creamy, but rarely healthy, broccoli cheddar soup. Plus, plain broccoli and , which are available now in grocery stores nationwide, and steamfresh bags of frozen . I'm telling ya, the cauli options are endless.
